React Chat App

Developing a real-time messaging app presents a variety of challenges in terms of performance, security and user experience. Features such as sending messages and photos, creating friend lists, starting group chats and blocking other users had to work seamlessly. In addition, the app had to be fast, modern and mobile-friendly.

The application was developed using React and Firebase. Firebase enables real-time messaging and media sharing, while React provides a dynamic and performant interface. TailwindCSS brought a modern and responsive design, and dark and light mode support was added. Emoji support, friend list management and blocking features were developed to improve the user experience.

The result is a user-friendly, fast and secure messaging app. Real-time message and media sharing, friend list management and group conversations strengthened social interaction. Dark and light mode support offers an experience suited to different user preferences.
